Inbound logistics for mainland China

We get goods into China.

Returned stock going back to the factory. New products going to Chinese shoppers. One team in Shenzhen handles the freight, the customs entry and the warehouse.

Two ways in

Which direction is your stock going?

AComing back

Send returns back to China

Stock that buyers sent back, or that never sold, goes home to your factory. We collect it abroad, clear it through Chinese customs as returned exports, and deliver it for repair or resale.

  • Returns from Amazon, Walmart, Temu, eBay and TikTok Shop
  • Import tax waived on returns that qualify
  • Repair in a bonded zone, then re-export

BGoing in

Enter the China market

Your products reach Chinese shoppers through cross-border e-commerce. We hold your stock in a bonded warehouse, clear each order through customs and deliver it.

  • No Chinese company needed to start
  • Tax due on sale, not on arrival
  • Orders ship from stock inside China

Why this is rare

Most forwarders ship out of China. We work the other direction.

Search for a freight company and you find page after page of firms moving goods from China to the world. Bringing goods in is a different trade, and few of them practice it. Three things stand in the way.

  1. 01

The paperwork runs the other way

An export forwarder files export declarations all day. An import entry needs a declarant registered with Chinese customs, a filing in Chinese, and someone to answer when customs asks a question.

  2. 02

The goods need somewhere to land

Returns waiting for repair and stock waiting for buyers both need bonded space under customs supervision. We work from bonded facilities in Shenzhen and a warehouse in Hong Kong.

  3. 03

    The data has to match

For e-commerce orders, customs matches the order, the payment and the logistics record before it releases a parcel. We built our own order and warehouse systems to send that data.

Where your goods are handled

These are our own photos of our own warehouse. Your cartons come off a truck here, get counted and checked, and go onto a rack or back out the door.

How it works

Six steps from your warehouse to China

The same six steps carry a pallet of returns and a carton of new product. The customs route in step two is what changes.

Read each step in detail
  1. Tell us what you have

Start with the country and the goods. A rough weight helps. For returns we ask how the goods left China, and for new products we ask for the HS code.

  2. We check documents and choose the route

We read your paperwork against Chinese customs rules and recommend the route with the lowest tax and the fewest holds.

  3. Pickup and freight

We collect from your warehouse or a marketplace warehouse, and book air or sea freight.

  4. Customs entry

Our Shenzhen team files the entry in Chinese and answers the questions customs sends back.

  5. Bonded zone or direct delivery

Goods for repair, and stock sold order by order, go into bonded space. Other cargo goes straight to the consignee.

  6. Delivered, repaired or re-exported

Your stock ends up at the factory, on sale in China, or on its way to another market.

Questions

What people ask first

Which returned goods can come back to China tax-free?

Goods exported from China through cross-border e-commerce channels that return within six months of export, in original state, because they did not sell or the buyer sent them back. China waives import duty, import VAT and consumption tax on them through December 31, 2027. Food is excluded. Other exported goods can get duty relief when they return within one year for reasons of quality or specification.

Do I need a Chinese company to sell to Chinese consumers?

No. Under China’s cross-border e-commerce rules, the seller is a company registered outside China that owns the goods. You appoint one company registered in China to register with customs and declare your goods. We arrange that as part of the service.

What paperwork do returns need?

The export declaration for the original shipment, and evidence of the reason for the return. For buyer returns, that means return or refusal records from the marketplace, or a return agreement. For stock that did not sell, a signed statement is enough.

What do you need from me for a quote?

The country the goods are in now, a short description, and a rough weight. For returns, tell us how the goods left China if you know. For new products, the HS code helps. We reply with a route, a price and the list of documents we need.
